Many of you know how Toys for Tots works, but for those of you who don’t, let me explain. “Campaigns begin in October and last until December 22nd. Caring Americans (such as yourself) drop off new and unwrapped toys at receptacles located in local businesses (such as ourselves”McLeRoy”.) Coordinators pick up, sort, and store these toys in a warehouse. As Christmas nears, Marines distruibute toys themselves with the help of local social welfare agencies and churches to distribute toys to needy children on Christmas Day.
While Marines and Local Community Organizations organize, coordinate, and manage the program, the ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys.”

How can you help? I’m glad you asked. You can drop off any donations here at McLeRoy Realty between the hours of 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday through December 22nd. We are located at 8945 US HWY 19 in Zebulon (next door to El Marachi Mexican Restaurant.)
