The Services I Offer

Since beginning in Real Estate, I have earned two more “designations”, or qualifications.  The first one is the Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR).  I attended classes and was tested on information relating directly to the Buyer in the Real Estate transaction.  While every agent can represent the buyer in any transaction, an ABR can use their specialized knowledge and training to benefit the buyer.  The second designation I earned is the Electronic Real Estate Professional designation (ePRO).  Through training in the classroom and online, an ePRO is comfortable with all aspects of online real estate.  From online search engines (Google, Trulia, Realtor.com), social media (Facebook, etc.), and BLOGS, an ePRO is comfortable working in any electronic medium.  Texting, email, blogging, iPad, tablets, internet, pictures, videos and movies- this is the realm of the ePro.  The third designation I have is REALTOR©.  I also joined the National Association of REALTORS© (NAR) and subscribe to the National Code of Ethics.  Be sure, whoever you use for your Real Estate needs, they are a member of the NAR and subscribe to the Code of Ethics.  More designations behind the name of your agent means they are interested in furthering their knowledge and experience to make your transaction seamless and easy for you.

About Me…

I am a full time Real Estate Agent and live on Shackleford Rd. in the north east section of Pike County.  My wife, BJ, and I have lived here since 1996.  BJ grew up in Griffin and graduated from Griffin High School before being hired by Delta Airlines.  We have three children, Kyle, 31- a High School Math Teacher in Atlanta, Kirsten, 32- a teacher living in Grenada, West Indies, and Elizabeth 22- a recent graduate from the University of Florida.  Prior to living in Pike County, I lived nineteen years in Marietta, GA.  Before that, I was in Jacksonville, FL, Corvallis, OR, Hampton, VA, and Anchorage, Alaska (which is my hometown).    BJ and I chose Pike County for its beauty and people and think it is the perfect place to rear children.  Since moving here, we have joined in to help with whatever projects we could to “do our part” in the community.  BJ is a past member of the Pike County Garden Club and is a Master Gardener (State of Georgia).  Since retiring from Delta Airlines, I’ve become more involved in the county.  I am a past member and past Chairman of the Pike County Planning Commission and current member and past Chairman of the Pike County Industrial Development Authority.  I am a member of the Southern Rivers Member Advisory Board and the State Bar of Georgia President’s Advisory Committee.  I am a member of Kiwanis Pike.  We are members of Rock Springs Church where I sing in the “off-key” Bass section of the choir.  I am an avid bird hunter and raise and train Brittany bird dogs at my farm in Pike County.  One of my dogs, Julia’s Bocephus, (Bo), is the 2001 Quail Unlimited National Champion.

My business philosophy is very simple.  I will make your goal, my goal- your concern, my concern.  You will get my best – every day.

McLeRoy Agent Appointed by State Bar

Schultz appointed by State Bar

Randall Schultz of McLeRoy Realty in Zebulon has been appointed to serve on the newly established President’s Advisory Council of the State Bar of Georgia. Nominated by State Bar president S. Lester Tate III of Cartersville and Dennis O’Brien of Marietta, Schultz was inducted into the President’s Advisory Council during its first meeting April 15-16 at the Bar Center in Atlanta.

The council was established as a means of increasing statewide public awareness of issues in the judicial branch of government and soliciting feedback from a broad spectrum of community leaders and citizens outside the legal profession.

“This is an effort by Bar leaders to create an ongoing dialogue with our fellow Georgians. The objectives are to enhance the public’s understanding of the work of our courts and g arner valuable insight from leaders in the business community and citizens from all walks of life,” Tate said. “Achieving these goals will strengthen the justice system in our state for years to come.”

The State Bar of Georgia, with offices in Atlanta, Savannah and Tifton, was established in 1964 by Georgia’s Supreme Court as the successor to the voluntary Georgia Bar Association founded in 1884. All lawyers licensed to practice in Georgia belong to the State Bar.
