Agent’s Choice:

This recipe is delicious and low fat. I use Splenda for the sugar and brown sugar to lower the calories even more, but it is not required. You can put the cutlets between two sheets of wax paper and beat them to make them thin in order to reduce the cook time.

Dijon Pork Chops

16 oz lean boneless pork chop, (8 chops)
3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp of apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup of water
Cooking spray
  • Combine mustard and next three ingredients in a small bowl. Place pork in a shallow dish; spoon 2 tablespoons mustard mixture over pork, turning to coat. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add pork, and cook 4 minutes on one side; turn pork and spoon reserved mustard mixture over pork. Cook pork 2 minutes or just until done.
  • Add water, stirring slightly; cook 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Turn pork to coat, and place on a serving platter. Pour pan juices over pork. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 2 cutlets).

The Services I Offer

I began selling Real Estate because I love that way it makes me feel when I help a family find that perfect home or when I assist a seller in moving into a new home by selling their current one. There is nothing like seeing the way a buyer’s eyes light up when they walk into the house that they have been dreaming of. I love the challenge of finding exactly what my buyer wants within their budget, which can sometimes be a real challenge. I do not sell Real Estate for just a paycheck; I do it for the love of the industry.

I am a Realtor, which means that I belong to an association of Realtors that hold me accountable for my actions. We have an ethics committee that we must answer to if we make a decision that could offend a customer or client. It is not a requirement by the state to be a Realtor, agents can conduct business without the Realtor designation, but they do not belong to a board. I belong to the Heart of Georgia Board of Realtors, which is a local board that is very active in our community.

If you are looking for a home or if you would like to sell your home, please do not hesitate to call me. I would be happy to help you.

About Me…

I began my career in Real Estate in 2007, prior to that I worked in the motorsports industry for 10 years. I am married with two beautiful children.  We live in Meansville on a small 10 acre tract on the edge of town. I lived in Pike County as a young girl and was quite excited when my husband agreed that it would be great to move back down here from Henry County. Both of my children go to Pike County schools and I couldn’t be more pleased with the education that they are receiving. Pike County is a wonderful place to raise a family. There is nothing like small town living.

The Services I Offer

Since beginning in Real Estate, I have earned two more “designations”, or qualifications.  The first one is the Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR).  I attended classes and was tested on information relating directly to the Buyer in the Real Estate transaction.  While every agent can represent the buyer in any transaction, an ABR can use their specialized knowledge and training to benefit the buyer.  The second designation I earned is the Electronic Real Estate Professional designation (ePRO).  Through training in the classroom and online, an ePRO is comfortable with all aspects of online real estate.  From online search engines (Google, Trulia, Realtor.com), social media (Facebook, etc.), and BLOGS, an ePRO is comfortable working in any electronic medium.  Texting, email, blogging, iPad, tablets, internet, pictures, videos and movies- this is the realm of the ePro.  The third designation I have is REALTOR©.  I also joined the National Association of REALTORS© (NAR) and subscribe to the National Code of Ethics.  Be sure, whoever you use for your Real Estate needs, they are a member of the NAR and subscribe to the Code of Ethics.  More designations behind the name of your agent means they are interested in furthering their knowledge and experience to make your transaction seamless and easy for you.

About Me…

I am a full time Real Estate Agent and live on Shackleford Rd. in the north east section of Pike County.  My wife, BJ, and I have lived here since 1996.  BJ grew up in Griffin and graduated from Griffin High School before being hired by Delta Airlines.  We have three children, Kyle, 31- a High School Math Teacher in Atlanta, Kirsten, 32- a teacher living in Grenada, West Indies, and Elizabeth 22- a recent graduate from the University of Florida.  Prior to living in Pike County, I lived nineteen years in Marietta, GA.  Before that, I was in Jacksonville, FL, Corvallis, OR, Hampton, VA, and Anchorage, Alaska (which is my hometown).    BJ and I chose Pike County for its beauty and people and think it is the perfect place to rear children.  Since moving here, we have joined in to help with whatever projects we could to “do our part” in the community.  BJ is a past member of the Pike County Garden Club and is a Master Gardener (State of Georgia).  Since retiring from Delta Airlines, I’ve become more involved in the county.  I am a past member and past Chairman of the Pike County Planning Commission and current member and past Chairman of the Pike County Industrial Development Authority.  I am a member of the Southern Rivers Member Advisory Board and the State Bar of Georgia President’s Advisory Committee.  I am a member of Kiwanis Pike.  We are members of Rock Springs Church where I sing in the “off-key” Bass section of the choir.  I am an avid bird hunter and raise and train Brittany bird dogs at my farm in Pike County.  One of my dogs, Julia’s Bocephus, (Bo), is the 2001 Quail Unlimited National Champion.

My business philosophy is very simple.  I will make your goal, my goal- your concern, my concern.  You will get my best – every day.
