Rootin’ Tootin’ Roundup 5k Trail Run/Walk for Amris Bedford

Amris Bedford, a spunky two year old country girl, was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive brain cancer known as AT/RT. Amris underwent surgery and is now receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she will be for the next 6 months. Proceeds from this run will be donated to her family to help cover expenses during this difficult time.  5K Trail Run/Walk When: Saturday, October 27, 2012 Where: Serenbe Community (9110 Selborne Lane, Palmetto, GA) “Country/Farm” Costumes are Encouraged!  Prizes: Awards will be Given to top 3 Males and Females and Best Costume.
This race is being held on the private trails of the newly developed 900-acre Serenbe Community. This 5k course will begin in a willdflower meadow and take you through the beautiful open fields and scenic trails of Serenbe! Come out and help us support Amris Bedford in her fight against cancer! We will also offer a phantom runner option.  So if you can’t attend or physically not able you can still support and get a tshirt!!!
